We can see the light at the end of the tunnel; however, the challenge continues for about 6,000 youth who experience homelessness across Canada every night. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c0 c5\"><a class=\"c1\" href=\"https:\/\/covenanthousetorontoevents.ca\/ui\/executive21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Covenant House\u2019s Executive Sleep Out<\/a><\/span><span class=\"c0\">\u00a0returns for its 10<\/span><span class=\"c0 c13\">th<\/span><span class=\"c0 c4\">\u00a0year on November 18, 2021, with the goal to raise $1.1 million. For one night, executives and community leaders come together to support homeless, trafficked, or at-risk youth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3040 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.activo.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image1-.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"205\" height=\"170\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c0\">This year\u2019s event invites sleepers to sleep out virtually at any designated site. For the fourth year in a row, I will give up the comforts of home and <\/span><span class=\"c5 c0\"><a class=\"c1\" href=\"https:\/\/covenanthousetorontoevents.ca\/ui\/executive21\/p\/jtaylor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">need your support<\/a><\/span><span class=\"c4 c0\">\u00a0in helping Covenant House reach its target.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c4 c0\">Armed with a sleeping bag, I will be one of many business and community leaders sleeping in their backyards or balconies to raise awareness and show youth at Covenant House Toronto that they are not alone. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c0\">With your donation, <\/span><span class=\"c5 c0\"><a class=\"c1\" href=\"https:\/\/covenanthousetoronto.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Covenant House Toronto<\/a><\/span><span class=\"c4 c0\">\u00a0will provide the city\u2019s homeless, trafficked, and at-risk youth shelter, medical care, counselling, and other support they need. 90% of every Sleep Out dollar raised goes towards Covenant House programs and the fight against COVID-19. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3042\" src=\"https:\/\/www.activo.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"486\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c4 c0\">Sleep Out shows youth that we care and they should never have to sleep just anywhere.
