The time when we grow our moustaches out and raise money for men\u2019s health, particularly prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health issues.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ca.movember.com\/team\/1577277\"><strong>Check out Activo\u2019s fundraising team page and donate to Mo Activo!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fundraising efforts of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas across Canada fund research to improve the tests, treatments, and outcomes for men\u2019s health.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Some of the biggest obstacles for men\u2019s health are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lack of awareness and understanding<\/li>\n<li>Lack of open discussions about men\u2019s health<\/li>\n<li>Reluctance to take action when unwell<\/li>\n<li>Risky activities that threaten health<\/li>\n<li>Stigmas surrounding mental health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Movember helps address these problems by opening up the topic and making it accessible for everyone. With mo\u2019s-for-the-cause popping up across the country, men\u2019s health issues can\u2019t go unnoticed and undiscussed!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Through Movember (and all year), we can take action on the state of men\u2019s health in Canada!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1279\" src=\"https:\/\/www.activo.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/MG786_ContentPrograms_MensHealth_816x615_CAN_FA.jpg\" alt=\"Mens health\" width=\"618\" height=\"496\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s now mid-month and <strong>so far we\u2019ve raised $775<\/strong>.
